BillKaro ("the app") is developed and maintained by Haltansu, a solo developer based in Durgapur, West Bengal, India.
BillKaro is an offline invoice and billing app designed for small shop owners in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app.
🔒 Short version: BillKaro is a 100% offline app. All your bills, customers, and shop data are stored only on your device. We do not have servers. We cannot see your billing data. Ever.
BillKaro collects minimal data. The only data collected is through Google AdMob (our advertising partner) for users on the Free tier:

Users on the Business plan have ads completely removed and AdMob does not collect any data from them.
We want to be very clear about what we never collect or transmit:
All billing data you enter stays entirely on your device's local SQLite database. We have no servers and no access to this data.
BillKaro stores all your data locally on your Android device using SQLite — a standard local database. This includes:
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the Google Drive backup feature (see Section 6).
Deleting the app permanently deletes all your BillKaro data from your device. We recommend using Drive backup before uninstalling.
BillKaro uses Google AdMob to show advertisements to users on the Free plan. Ads are not shown to Pro or Business plan users.

To opt out of personalised ads:
You will still see ads on the Free plan, but they will not be personalised to you.
💡 Upgrade to Pro (₹149) or Business (₹99/mo) to remove all ads permanently.
Business plan users can optionally back up their BillKaro data to their own personal Google Drive account.
This feature is entirely optional. If you do not use Drive backup, no data is sent anywhere.

We request only the permissions strictly necessary for the features described above.
BillKaro is designed for adult shop owners and business users. The app is rated for users aged 18 and above.
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at haltansu.dev@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.
Since BillKaro does not collect your personal data on our servers, most traditional data rights (access, portability, deletion) are managed entirely by you on your own device.
