Bloom ("the app") is developed and maintained by Haltansu, a solo developer based in Durgapur, West Bengal, India.

Bloom is a menstrual cycle tracking app that helps you log periods, symptoms, moods, and personal notes to better understand your body. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.

Bloom collects minimal data. We do not collect or transmit your health data to any server. The only external data activity that may occur is:

• Crash reports (anonymous): If the app crashes, anonymous technical diagnostic data (device model, OS version, crash stack trace — no personal or health data) may be sent to help us fix bugs. This contains no identifying information.
• In-app purchase transactions: If you choose to support Bloom via an in-app purchase, Google Play processes the payment. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made — we never receive your payment details.

We want to be absolutely clear about what we never collect or transmit:

• Your period dates, cycle length, or flow data
• Symptoms, moods, or energy levels you log
• Notes, journal entries, or personal reflections
• Your name, age, or date of birth
• Your email address or phone number
• Your location (GPS or network-based)
• Your contacts, call logs, or messages
• Photos or files on your device
• Any account login or registration data (Bloom has no user accounts)

All data you enter stays entirely on your device's local storage. We have no servers and no access to this data.

Bloom stores all your data locally on your Android device. This includes:

• Period start and end dates
• Cycle predictions and ovulation estimates
• Daily symptom, mood, and flow logs
• Personal notes and journal entries
• Your app settings and preferences

We understand that menstrual and reproductive health data is deeply personal and sensitive. Bloom is built on the principle that this data belongs exclusively to you.

• Your cycle data is stored only on your device — never uploaded to our servers or any third party.
• We do not sell, share, or monetise your health data in any form.
• We do not use your health data to serve advertisements.
• We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties.
• Cycle predictions are calculated entirely on-device — no data is sent to a server to generate them.

Bloom requests only the permissions strictly necessary for its features:

Bloom does not request permissions to access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or storage.

Bloom is intended for users aged 13 and above. The app is rated for teens and adults on the Google Play Store.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app and provided personal information, please contact us at haltansu.dev@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

Since Bloom does not collect your personal data on any server, your data rights are managed entirely by you on your own device:

• Access your data: Open the app — all your cycle history and logs are visible directly.
• Delete your data: Use Settings → Clear All Data, or uninstall the app to permanently delete all local data.
• Correct your data: Edit or delete any log entry directly within the app at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

• The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
• Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notification.
• Continued use of Bloom after changes means you accept the updated policy.
